  8.                    The DeAdZoNe Utilities for RemoteAccess

  11. What are they?
  12. --------------
  13. The DeAdZoNe utilities are a collection of *FREE* utilities for use with
  14. RemoteAccess.  Below is a brief description of the utilities which are
  15. available as of this writing. Be sure to look for them on your favourite  BBS,
  16. or you can obtain them directly from the system listed below by file request.

  19. Brief Descriptions
  20. ------------------

  22. D-StAt
  23. ======
  24.    *   Top User Statistics Generator. Provides complete system and user
  25.        information in one easy to use program. Including:
  26.    *   Top Callers, Top (message) Posters, Top Downloaders(in kilobytes and
  27.        files), Top Uploaders (in kilobytes and files), as well as totals and
  28.        Averages.
  29.    *   Will use either Handles or Real names.
  30.    *   InfoBar shows you the Total System Calls, Total Downloads,
  31.        Uploads etc., as well as Averages (e.g. Average time used per day etc.)
  32.    *   Can be configured to exclude certain users from the statistics.
  33.    *   Colour of bulletins can be changed if desired (even a 3-d shadow effect
  34.        is available).

  37. D-SoRt
  38. ======
  39.    *   Automatically sorts your FILES.BBS in alphabetical order.
  40.    *   VERY FAST!
  41.    *   D-SoRt can be configured to skip certain file areas from being sorted.
  42.    *   If you have header lines (which provide the user with information about
  43.        the file area etc.) at the top or anywhere else in your FILES.BBS D-SoRt
  44.        will preserve them intact.(Please read the section labelled "Header
  45.        lines" below.)
  46.    *   D-SoRt will preserve `blocks' of text and only sort within those blocks
  47.        (for example, if you have FILES.BBS broken down into sections, D-SoRt
  48.        will preserve those sections).

  51. D-DooR
  52. ======
  53.    *   Top Door Statistics. Will generate "Top Door" bulletins (i.e. which
  54.        doors are being used and how much), as well as "Top Door User" bulletins
  55.        (i.e. which *users* are accessing the doors).
  56.    *   Provides a nice looking graphs for easy comparison.
  57.    *   Will detect if a door is entered more than once in sequence by the same
  58.        user, and will not count it.  (This option can be temporarily disabled
  59.        if desired.)
  60.    *   Supports Handles and Real Names.
  61.    *   Can be configured to exclude certain users from the statistics.
  62.    *   Fully multi-node compatible.
  63.    *   Colour of bulletins can be changed if desired (even a 3-d shadow effect
  64.        is available).
  65.    *   Shows how many days the statistics cover (e.g. last 50 days).

  68. D-CaLL
  69. ======
  70.    *   A easy to use door which replaces RA's built-in "Today's Callers List"
  71.    *   Masks local logons so that "0" baud calls show up as"ordinary" calls.
  72.        That way nobody can tell if somebody is logging on locally to your
  73.        BBS...
  74.    *   Supports Handles and Real Names.
  75.    *   Optionally excludes/includes the Sysop from the list
  76.    *   First time callers show up as "NEW USER".
  77.    *   Can be configured to exclude certain users from the statistics.
  78.    *   Runs as a door and sets up in minutes!
  79.    *   DESQview aware.

  82. NeXt
  83. ====
  84.    *   NeXt is a utility which allows you to toggle the status of the "sysop
  85.        next" flag even though the user is outside of the BBS (i.e. he/she is
  86.        running a door or some other external program).
  87.    *   Works with or *without* a multitasker.

  91. ======
  92.    *   Replaces RA's built-in "User List"
  93.    *   Supports Handles and Real Names
  94.    *   Automatically excludes any users with security level zero (locked but)
  95.        and any users who have the "Hidden" bit set.
  96.    *   Optionally includes the Sysop's name in the header
  97.    *   Can be configured to exclude certain users from the statistics.
